I accepted the Computer Apps course, but not sure what my next step is. When is registration? Am I just going to get an email or letter with the information?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 76 ✭✭ThatGuyHughesy

Tell me about it! When I was in Trinity, my email was 12 characters long, the one on the letter I got in the post yesterday is 25! And has numbers in it!

I got it too, quick question..can you set up your email address now or do u have to wait until after u register? also i presume when you set it up you choose your own password because they didn't give us one?

"Portal Page, Email, Moodle - please note these services are activated 24 hours after successful registration. If you still cannot login using your details 24 hours after receiving your confirmation of registration email please contact ISS at the details above." This is on the registry's website!

You should have received a password and username! That password and username are used for everything (moodle, your portal, and e-mail).

Orientation starts on 17th September, but on that timetable thing it tells me I start on the 19th, should I go up for the start of the week or wait for the wednesday?

If I were you, I'd go up on the Sunday night. You'll meet a few people around the campus then, especially if you're living in Larkfield.
