FYI For anyone who is interested.

The fastest lap from this years Formula 1 GP in silverstone was 1:34.661
The fastest lap from this years GP 2 race 2 (Dry) in Silverstone was 1:45.340
The fastest lap from this years FR 3.5 race 2 (Dry) in Silverstone was 1:43.850
The fastest lap from this years WEC LMP1 (Dry) in Silverstone was 1'44.520

Interested the see the LMP1 race fastest race lap

What I am most amazed at is that the new FR 3.5 car is faster than the GP2 car which I am very happy about. I always liked FR 3.5. I like the way they get great performance and a fraction of the GP2 price. If they wanted, they could match the pace of formula 1 cars at the same cost as they are charging now.

pretty impressive by the lmp1 cars considering how much heavier and less powerful they are.

Think I remember Anthony Davidson, or should have been one of the other LMP1 pundits that Sky have say that the LMP1 cars actually generate more downforce than an F1 car. I guess they loose most of their time because of their weight, engine, and tyres

out of curiosity what lap times were the f1 cars doing with a full load of fuel? guessing around the 1.39 mark

Really kicking myself that I didn't go to this. What a weekend. FR3.5 and WEC, Friday, Saturday and Sunday for £40. What a bargain compared to nearly £400 for formula 1 !!

Going to this next year and might even go to the DTM in the UK next year too.

Have been to a F1 race every year since 2009, but cant afford it next year. Prices are MADNESS
