Bedroom-over-garage floor insulation

Hello,

I would like to insulate the floorspace between a bedroom and the garage beneath, but have some concerns:

Is Quintherm as/more effective than Kingspan, and can I use the type with foiled sides? Or is a net filled with Rockwool a better option? (I'm trying to keep the drafts down too)

And do I need a lining above or below either of these?

Need to do this soon, as global warming is making the winters a lot colder now.

Personally I would opt to rockwool (not fibreglass) pack the floor as that material has excellent fire resisting properties. I assume that their is a plasterboard ceiling over the garage - if not their must be for fire resistance.

Ideally it would be best to lift the floorboards of the bedroom to apply a polythene layer below the floorboards.

Would I use that in a net (there is plasterboard beneath, by the way) or just fill the entire void without any support? Also what sort of polythene lining do you suggest between it and the bedroom floorboards?
