Carlton Shearwater are having a 5th birthday special, 2 nights room only €60 for upto 2 adults & 2 kids. They seem to have availability right upto Christmas

This hotel is in Ballinasloe, Co Galway ~ 45 minutes drive or 13 hours walk from Galway.

Yes I know but its a 4* with a leisure centre, spa & most importantly for some of us a kids club !!!

And there was I thinking it was a bargain - a 4 star hotel with leisure center for the same price as pitching a tent in salthill and less than half the price of a galway hostel.

Just looked up Christmas Day and Stephens Day and found there was availability, but thought this was a little strange, so rang them to confirm before booking and they are closed :mad: so upset! Would have been lovely!

In case anyone didn't see it you also get €55 of money off vouchers as per quote below:
