So Allen, Adam, Coates, Flano, Sterling, Morgan, Borini, Agger and Henderson are all in bibs, nice mix of 1st team and young, really want Andy to be given a chance in the game

Happy to see Coates possibly starting but I'd much rather if Robinson was in green rather than Flanagan.

Be interesting to see Morgan start.

Charlie Adam has his bib on backwards, Can't even dress himself , let alone take a decent corner

Anyone else getting antsy about the fact we haven't signed anyone else?

I know that, But only a lower neck on front
    Its shocking and appalling behavior
That's why the Warrior symbol is on front and back,
Then knew Charlie Adam was at club
He'll have to be banned for this

As a football fan, who's primary exposure is the Premier League, it is fantastic to see the likes of Kagawa, Hazard and even Sahin, if he joins Arsenal, in playing in England.

As a Liverpool fan, not so much.

I can now fully understand the Hazard love. Looks a super player.

Exactly the type of player Liverpool lack, we don't have a player that comes close to his level unfortunately.

We haven't had a decent winger over a sustained period in a long time. McManaman?

A midfielder who has the ability to keep the ball at his feet while going past opponents and has the mentality to do so on a regular basis.

Mcmanaman's two goals against Celtic way back, when he went the length of the pitch to score have always stuck with me. Everytime we sign a winger i hope to see this again and always disappointed.

Hazard is now what i imagined Marc Gonzalez would turn out like :o

Funny thing McManaman didnt even play his best football as a winger, more of a drifter. His dribbling ability was excellent.

If Morgan starts before Carroll its an absolute disgrace imo. He has to be given a chance.

Carroll is cup tied if he plays though isn't he?

No the qualifying round is separate as far as I know, he wouldn't be cup tied from the group stages. Same as Assaidi can't play for us until the group stages.

I agree someone as talented as McManaman would be great. He was an amazing player. Problem is in the current market a player similiar to his ability would cost a fortune.

Very speculative that the club can't afford £7.5m.

I don't believe it and just think they want rid of Spearing and Adam as would most on here.

It could be that specifically Dempsey - a player who'll probably leave for nothing - has to be subsidised. Aside from what he'll bring on the pitch he won't bring any value to the squad. Cash flow and all that.

He created this transfer furore around Carroll himself with his comments earlier in the Summer so I'm not sure why he's complaining now!

    What furore?

I don't see anything wrong with saying that a player is for sale and then telling someone to 'eff off' if they come in with a ridiculous offer!
