It looks like we could also still be in for a striker as backup, if this is to believed.

I'd say we are but we need to shift players first

Talk of Bendtner leaving to play somewhere in Europe. €8 million is being talked about. He also said this, apparently about RVP leaving...

“It doesn’t affect me. Even if all Arsenal’s strikers left it wouldn’t affect me. I’m going anyway.”

The Andre Santos jokes are flying on twitter, along with people trying to get #freesantos trending :pac:

Tried finding the full story on the net but to no luck has anyone seen it? Besides the headline.

Follw @Arsenaltickets on Twitter, ppl post there when they have spares

If you live in London, the new U 21 home games are at the Emirates, Im going Saturday - only 3 quid! Aneke, Henderson, Miquel and Eisfeld - carcling cup kids in action basically

Savage cabbage. Will definitely check that out.

Has anyone seen the Navas rumours?

    Navas - Arseblog

Originally reported by AS, which has been credible for previous sources. He'd be a great accquisition, would make up for missing out on Mata last year and can be pretty much deployed anywhere up front, the Euros being an example. If this is true then it could mean that Arshavin's pretty much gone or Walcott is stuck in the mud with his contract.

I hate that, price and wages wise he really fit the bill for us. Genuinely can't see why anyone would choose the Spuds over us.

I blame the "little boy" inside him. Verthongen should have a good season with Spurs, especially with the exodus that's happening now. Modric, Dawson & Huddlestone are pretty much gone, so he can be a star player for the club. Whereas with Arsenal he was pretty much unaware that Song was going to leave. He would've made a great buy for ourselves but for every player like himself, there are many more that can fill that spot for us.

Its not good enough to win the title. get a DM and a new defender. both proven ones and we are good to go

When will anything Arsenal do be good enough to win the title?
The fans are never realistic at the start of the season and this is why the boo boys are still hanging around.

Jesus Navas is the most homesick footballer in the world, even with Spain he's chronic. No way will we sign him.

Totally, he has panic attacks when he leaves spain - apparently.

and he already turned down a move to Chelsea.

    We don't want another Reyes.

Maybe with a bunch of Spanish lads in the team Arteta, Cazorla, Miguel and Sahin (well, sorta) it might be easier for Navas to settle?

Doubt it hes meant to have gotten treatment to help with his home sickness, and that was just for international tournaments which last a few weeks.

He still loses the plot when he travels with the Spanish national team, so its hard to say.
