For me it's when the potential victim hears a noise outside, goes out to check and leaves the door wide open behind her! Who would do that??

I don't get why any black guy would go on a dangerous mission/ go through a scary place.
Everyone knows the black guy always dies.

So there's a killer/monster in the house? Lets split up one by one and not stay together, genius.

When someone like the bad guy gets the hero and starts talking instead of just shooting him
An then the hero somehow gets the gun off him
Cuz he was telling a story instead of killin him

Or when they hear a noise they leave their room without a phone and go "Hello???" really loudly around the house

It should be the thing that movie people should first concentrate on and get right, the story and the script.

I am a sci/fi head so I was really looking forward to Prometious but to spite 150 million dollars spent on the production, they totally fukced up the script and story to make it a below a mediocre film.

Ridley Scott you toss-pot, its not like him to let me down.

Going by the reviews Total Recall has the same problem.

Any film starring Jim Carey or Adam Sandler.

    1) Both the subtle and more direct forms of American propaganda
    2) Blatant product placement.

I think the main problem with Adam Sandler is that he went "full retard" and never really came back.

That, and the fact that he's not funny.

He went? I always thought that was permanent on him :pac:

This applies to TV, too, but nobody ever says goodbye on the phone. They just hang up.

I'd be confused ringing them back thinking they ran out of credit or the phone died to make sure.

    Person: "Yea?"
Me: "Well, did you run out of credit or what?"
    Person: "No?"
Me: "Oh, did the phone die then?"
Person: "No, I thought we were done talking."
    Me: "Were we?
    Person: "Yes"
    Me: "Oh.......uh...........ok............................Anyways......"

    *calls end*

    Me: "Hell.....................hello?"

    *BEEP.........BEEP.........BEEP*

    Me: "Prick"

The script gaffs was really annoying and they were numerous.

Also the best of the Alien franchise was the tension the stories generated there was always an element of unpredictability, this one was all:rolleyes::rolleyes: well guess what will happen now.

Micheal Fashbinder was the only saving grace about that waste of money.

A tendency for some British films to ruin a film by killing off the main protagonist examples
    Layer Cake, London Boulevard
and others. My theory is they try to make them into a Shakespearian Tragedy

You should watch him in Stranger Than Fiction, a little gem of a movie and Ferrell gets to show he can actually act.

    Also, Elf! :D
