I'm still very happy with the summer we've had.
Im really looking forward to our games against united, I know vermaelen will have RVP in his pocket, and our signings will be excellent.

Will be interesting to see how he reacts if he scores against us. Then again, playing beside someone as detestable as Rooney and seeing how he celebrates goals against Everton, he'll probably do an Adebayor on it.

    Why would he?
He hasnt been treated badly, I think he will be reserved about it.
Arsenal made him who he is, and on Adebayor that was seeing his teammates shot at that turned him into a Cnut.

Anyone know where exactly Sahin's best position is? Will he play as a direct replacement for Song as DM or are we going to be reliant on coqelin or Frimpong? I haven't seen much of him play to be honest

Podolski gets #9, Cazorla #19. Park gets #30. How bad would you feel. "So, number 9. Says here it belongs to some lad called Park. Anyone know who that is? No? Ok, here you go Poldi."

You sure about that? Wilshere (anyone remember him?) has 19?

Edit: Jack Wilshere takes over at number 10!

That's mad, you'd think 19 wouldve been low enough number to stick with, he mustve been first to bagsie number 10 when it came free.

    Is he def gone yet?
From all the stuff i've read it seems Arsene has offered him a new contract and basically told him either sign it or piss off.

No loss if it finally rids the club Darren Dein. Easy enough to replace him and we get the added bonus of laughing at him as he only gets 10 minutes every now and then and only starts Copa del Rey games and a Champions League game or two towards the tail end of the group stage when they have already qualified.

Has Van Persie signed for Man United yet? Sky Sports News hasn't been the best source to find out for definite.

Adebayor celebrated that goal and stepped on Van Perises face before the shooting incident.

Regarding Alex Song I have seen nor read anything concrete regarding his departure. I will be very disappointed if he does go however as I consider him as a very valuable player and it would take an excellent signing to replace him and one who would have to adapt to our style very quickly.

He's not number 31. That's the training number. Squad numbers will be announced later today...

"It has a special place for all attacking or creative players. I feel proud to wear it now after some real Club legends have worn it, such as Dennis Bergkamp." :p
