Headphones

Hey,

Looking to buy a set of headphones. Listen to all types from rock to classical. Basically.anything I think is good. Listen to a lot of meditation cds and do a bit of travelling these days and need them for the journey.

Could anyone here recomme.d a good set of noise reduction (if possible) headphones for < €200. That price isn't a
target, just a guideline. If theresa pair for €30 that are just as good, ill take them.

Exactly what I came here to post!

Although if you're listening to lots of Mp3s, they'll tend to uncover the compression inherent in low quality files. But for physical records and FLAC/WAV etc., they are just heavenly.

They're industry standard for DJ's for years so you won't get much better for that price. I have a pair and they sound amazing.

So they're wonderful for listening, anyone know if these work well as monitoring headphones? Though I suppose 'good monitor headphones' is an oxymoron?

These, I love my pair, and they're made in Ireland too.

Indestructible, sound amazing, all the parts are user replaceable. You won't regret it.

Consider splashing out for the version with the longer coiled cable if it's for seated use though - the standard cable is short which is fine if you're a DJ but less so if you're sitting down and your stereo is at the other end of the room.

Great sound, but definitely not indestructible

You're as well off buying a new pair for the price of replacement parts!

But yeah, still highly recommended.
