I enjoyed most of the maps in blops tbh, i'll get blops 2 Anyway, like others have said, its only a few quid fs, im sure even at its worst i'll get 20 hours out of it (MW3 got more than that and its horrible). As long as the core gameplay isn't ****, you can always just join and favorite servers that have rules you like (No killstreaks, **** perks etc).

Perks look alrite, some of those killstreaks sound awful tho...

Looking forward to it, but the whole Xbox getting DLC ahead of PS3 sucks monkey nuts! Thought that aspect was all finished after the last contract ran out but obviously not! And I know you can just get yourself an xbox and that solves it but I still think that's gonig a bit far to get content a couple months in advance.:mad::mad:

Xbox live is a paid service, psn is largely free. Part of that paid service goes toward timed exclusives as well as other things like demos and other assorted crap. PS3 users have an advantage in that they get the feedback from xbox users experiences with the dlc. Generally the consensus on xbox is the dlc for black ops/mw3 is sub par and you're possibly better off investing in another game instead of elite.

Over time you become quite disillusioned with the way that many of these games producers operate and they repeatedly hype themselves or their wares. My guess is that nuketown 2025 will be free to all sometime after release and that it's a ploy to get pre-orders numbers, it's blatantly playing up to those whose bought black ops.

I still think anyone who plans on purchasing all DLC anyway, should just buy elite.
And the fact that its Treyarch there will be good DLC, and good new zombie maps so most people will buy the DLC.

You're well off there, Treyarch's dlc for black ops was very poor on the whole. Stadium and the zombie maps were the only high points; 1 good map out of 8 is a shockingly bad return (I didn't buy the last map pack) if you're main interest isn't in zombies. There was a design your own CoD thread on here a good while back before mw3 came out, and most players wanted treyarch to do the updates and old IW to make maps.

They really come up with wtf were they thinking things but that scope just takes the biscuit tbh

I wonder if that stream was from a hd pvr, or from the live stream feature in game.

COD casting, Esports blah blah, who gives a crap about that feature?????

The match making idea is pretty good I have to say

E Sports is a tiny minority in the COD community, I dont understand why they are putting so much emphasis on it.
