Folks, what do you think of an event thread? Even lose the "YooTube" thread and sticky it? Looking at the VAGE 10 thread, I'd have gone to that tbh.

Would a Sticky with the likes of the different shows / meets be of any use?

Coming back from a morning Hike on Sunday and I saw a rake of old Escorts heading towards Carlingford.... Was tempted to swing around and follow them but was quite muddy and sweaty so didn't but if I knew where it was I would've gone back.

I was wondering what an even thread was and wheres the odd thread... Then I realised :o

I like that idea though :) so many events you don't hear about till about 2 days before when you can't get the time to go! :(

Have you ever used Overclockers.co.uk? They do a lot of the gamer kit, and are usually very snappy on delivery and customer service.

I use scan.co.uk or komplett.ie, but komplett.ie did not had updated version of mouse i wanted. Scan pissed me off, by losing my account again...

last time i order from amazon thats for sure...

Used to order a lot of stuff from them but you get destroyed on shipping. I now use this German crowd cheapest place I have seen.

    http://www2.hardwareversand.de/home.jsp

we use them, when recomending builds on "building pc" forum. its a good place if you dont mind longer delivery times. Very good to buy a full system, but not as great for individual items.

On an off topic note I must have Jehovahs Witnesses living above me, yer one was screaming 'Oh God' and 'Jesus Christ' repeatedly this morning

No and I won't be in the near future. The cash is going on the Integra and other Civic. Can't really justify a race car and a nice rad car so the Transit Connect will be my daily for a while

Red primer is usually etch primer which "eats" into the metal to give an excellent base for paint and grey is the normal stuff which has to go on over the etch primer.

oh so you HAVE to use the red and then the grey, you cant just use the grey?
