    Any good golf courses that people have experience with around Castleblaney or Carrickmacross.

    I found Concra Golf Course via search .. which looks interesting.

    Yep Concra Wood .... you wont be disappointed .. you could also look up Nuremore Hotel & Golf .. sort of an antidote to Concra :D

    Yep, another endorsment for Concra Wood. You won't find a better course in the area. Every hole is memorable.

    They are sold by the club at a cost of 5K each. If you choose to sell them at a later date the club take 20% of the price. An offer was made to sell shares to anual members recently for 2K as opposed to the 5K for new members. As far as Im aware people would have paid up to 19K for a share during the boom years.
    With the huge debt on the place the shares are worthless at the moment. That is just my opinion of course.

    On that basis it seems that it would take some ten years to break even on them as the saving over the simple annual sub membership of e1500 is only some E400. Thanks for the info!
