    Good night in the pub?:pac:

Honestly, I've never seen them but if they were simply for a puck about in the garden, then I'm sure they'd be fine. Smyths have hurlies aswell and they'd be grand - if a little dearer.

Have Lidl hurley. I think it's OK. Just use it pucking around the garden.
Lidl sloitars are alright too. And good value.

I reckon Lidl ones would be fine for that.

They're not banded. You will need a grip for it. Also Available in Lidl

LIDL ones are branded, just not stamped with that brand. The exact design is different to the maker's usual, but the wood used is the same.

Got one in Lidl, lat year for whacking the sloithar around the garden. Seems fine, great quality and with a "hurler" as gifted as me, it's been hit of the ground/concrete umpteen times and it's still perfect.

    I did say Banded.

Meaning a metal strip or strips around the bos of the hurley

Lar Corbett didnt design them he just promotes them, Aidan Falconer Hurley maker in Piltown Co. Kilkenny makes them they are made from Polish Ash and cut to shape in Poland just sanded down in his work shop. He also imports the Hurley gloves an grips an the rest, I don't really like these hurls there too dry an in a clash they can break easily but their fine for light puck about, he makes really nice hurls that he sells from his work shop made from Irish ash..

Lidl Hurleys are branded 'Gael Star' and are promoted by Lar.

They're absolutely fine for messing around with. I do it all the time

Also Lidl sliotars. 'Gael Star' as well bearing Lar Corbett's signature.

    Lovely ball to hurl with.
