Steady on; he's not THAT bad!

Ha didn't mean offence by it. Meant to say he's useless really, although he's better than what RTE can offer at the end of the day

Nope, no age limits for the womens game.

Do women use a smaller goal? It looks much smaller

If Katie Taylor is now guaranteed a bronze medal- how does that work if there are four fighters in the semis?

There is no box off for bronze, so the two losing semi finalists get bronze.

    No 3rd place play off!

Not sure why though?? Seems strange two bronzes but we'll take it sure!

It's because the IOC and organisers would only allow a certain amount of time to be allocated for the competition. Which is bad form imo

US win the football at the end of extra time. Canada deserved it more imo.

did anyone notice Katie Taylor's coach (not her father the other guy) giving Marty Morrissey a dirty look?...he was there chewing gum and giving him the evils for some reason

Fitting that the hottest player on the pitch scored the winner. Alex Morgan is fine.

Is there a World Cup in women's soccer? Like an every 4 year job or something?

Should be age limited if so at olympics or not be there at all along with mens football

Probably itching to give him a slap. Which is the feeling I get whenever I see or hear that clown.

Yeah, the last one was last year, Japan (who were unfancied) beat the USA in the final.

I am just loving the RTE Roundup with Darragh Maloney commentating...just has me in stitches all the time.

I thought it was obnoxious to be honest and changed the station

I wish they would show more sports and less fluff

And, although he isn't brilliant, Mowbray is certainly better than ''Motty''™, who ready for the humane killer at this stage.

Yeah, but there's something like 34 million soccer players.

They have a women's hockey team too, but you're right, haven't seen them too much overall... they've only got the one bronze so far.......

This basketball commentary is laughably bad. The main commentator repeatedly referred to Chandler as " Anthony " and a minute ago their he said, "Anthony replaces Chandler, former teamates now ." Does he know something the rest of us doesn't? They are both NYK players!
