Hi! I've got a date with a girl this week from a dating site. I'm just wondering when would be the right time to broach the bi thing? When I'm with someone, I'm monogamous and have always been straight (haha) (as in told them I find girls attractive) with my ex boyfriends but haven't dated girls, just had flings or picked up girls in bars. I don't want to scare this girl off but I'd like to be honest AND not ruin my chances. Should I have in my profile that I'm bi?

Also, if I'm "dating" someone and there's no commitment, would it complicate things to go on a date with someone of the opposite sex to the first person?

Is there any other advice that anyone could offer? Thanks!

the sad thing is, your being bi might indeed scare/ put off some women. But surely that kind of thing would come up in conversation, like talking about exes, etc? Depends of age too, when I was younger my gf being bi was a big deal to me, and it left me insecure, but now it's no issue at all- she is who she is and i love her.

I'd say be honest if it comes up in conversation. As for on your profile, you are who you are, and if being bi is something that is important to you as part of your identity, then why wouldn't you say it?

The dating thing is a bit tricky, because lots of people dates a few people when they're doing the casual thing- the other person might not be ok with that. In an ideal world, the gender of the people you're dating shouldn't matter, but it might.
