Yeah; no airs and graces about them.

Is yer man into the next round in the walking race? Did sleeping in an oxygen tent help him?

I find it hard to take this event seriously.. :p

    Orange pilled.

This race is a fecking farce, twice someone should have been eliminated and twice the flash box didnt work - ridiculous!

Agree totally with your comments about the Olympians. And I get where you are coming from with the bit about modern day footballers. Don't think I could give it up though!

    Fencing update;

Dramatic finish in the women's team Épée bronze medal match with the US beating Russia in extra time.

Gonna have to watch the swimming online tonight :(

Its a shame Phelps will go number 3 in his race. It would have been magical seeing him win the gold at the end.

Im gonna try ween myself off it over the next few months. One of my biggest gripe is the interviews. Earlier in the rowing the British lads that just lost out on gold were purely shattered and genuinely devastated. They were gutted that they felt they let everyone around them down. They were pretty unlucky with the seat breaking but didnt blame it. When i see footballers lose a game, they dont look shattered or too devastated. They also end up blaming everyone else bar themselves. Its always the ref or the pitch

Is that supposed to be funny?

Just listening to Ian Thorpe Australia have only 1 gold from the aquatic centre, that is pretty bad for them as they are usually a dominabt swimming power.

I have noticed that they were not doing well, I normally support them if there is no Irish or British in the race.

Can't believe no one is showing the final night of swimming live.

Anyone know where online I can watch it?

40 at the end of the month, with three young athletes running around the Lewis household. Definite MILF potential.

On on the BBC red button and http://www.rte.ie/live/olympics/ (you better have reasonably quick BB for comfortable viewing)

Thanks found out I have Eurosports on the UPC. So watch it there

I like the BBC coverage so a bit annoyed the showing football instead. Commentry is dire on Eurosports.

I'm on the phone so can link you but there's a site called eurovision sports ebu. It's fully legit, just Google it

We dont have red button on UPC for BBC which is annoying. I like the BBC commentry esp with Ian Thrope insight either down at pool with Claire Bading and Mark Foster or when he is back in studio.

Ah well I stick with Eurosport.
As you said RTE stream is dire and I have good enough bb

RTE's online streams are working perfectly for me. Far better quality than some of the other streams.

I only just realised I had eurosports too. i don't know why the bbc/rte are switching to athletics it's the final night . I nearly forgot there was swimming on today thinking it was over last night. It'll be athletics for the days after anyway.
