I really liked it buut remember it's Seth McFarlane so don't go in expecting high brow comedy and you wont be disapointed imo. I found it good fun and it actually made my girlfriend cry at one bit even though she knew it wasn't supposed to be taken that seriously.

    The bits with
    Flash Gorden!
really made me laugh. I've heard people say the best bits where used in the trailer but those bits are only in the first half of the movie really.

I was a big massive fan of family guy back when it was at its peak. Like around season 4ish.
But then I found Macfarlenes humor somewhat repetitive and started to lose what made it great. Then i watched his "cavalcade of cartoon comedy" which was the biggest regret of my life.
Practically an hour and a half of just the non sequiturs from family guy but not funny. Has anyone else watched it?

So i'm really hoping its more of the humor that i used to like from him and not just funny for the sake of funny comedy.

Any one else think that we punch above our weight in the olympics in general, we are generally there or there abouts in most sports we compete in.

    (pun not intended)

If you look at the success we achieve across all sports in the context of our small population, (not just the Olympics but the likes of golf, rugby etc) we must be up there with any nation in the world.

Yeah, the Calvacade of Comedy thing wasn't great. Things which were too long and weird even by Family Guy cutaway standards.

    American Dad > Family Guy

I prefer Family Guy, but I think it's phenomenally overrated. I associate it with students sitting in marijuana-smoke-filled rooms for 18 hours solid and eating Domino's pizza twice a day.

Why are speed limits considered optional to some people? Driving on the motorway, pushing the limit, and there's still people zipping past me and disappearing in the distance :S

I recently passed my driving test, and now that I finally have, I don't own a car. Oh, the irony.

I saw Ted and thought it was Good! But I think Seth MacFarlane should stick to 30Min-50Min shows and Specials. I found myself losing interest during some parts!

I think my computer is dieing :(

Still no internet (did the Maleware bytes scan, found one problem and fixed it.) and just tried the internet cable wired into my laptop and it works too. No virus found but still no internet.

Can you change the internet ports on the computer? I have an older computer, if they can be swapped out i'll give that a go.

Firstly anyone who gets to the Olympics deserves all the credit in the world, the amount of sacrifices they make is amazing.

But I can't watch swimming, it's so ****ing dull, props to everyone involved but I don't care.:(

Whats the Olympic sports ye find boring?

The football, besides Brazil nobody else could give a flying fig e.g. when Spain get knocked out without even scoring you know nobody could be arsed and every game I watched of it was far more boring than pre season friendlies.

    Weight lifting.

I was watching it earlier and the women(who had stubble) were pressing a fair few kilos heavier than me and I was thinking they could probably fire me across my living room no problem, a scary thought.

Keep wrestling out of the Off-Topic section. Use the search function to check if there's a thread about it already. If not, then make a new thread!

Your thread looks like it might go in the unpopular opinions thread, but it's likely a popular opinion.

Yes, another one. October, that makes it four years in a row! Three more after this and it'll be as long as the Saw franchise!

They havent been scary since the first one though. The old grannies chasing yer man in the ending of the last one was hilarious.
