I did that trip but the bus was organized by travel agent. The hotel you are staying in will be able to tell you which bus company can take you. Maybe try emailing them? Journey is about 45 mins.

I've done this trip loads of times. There are always private buses outside the airport waiting for package tourists to come in. Just ask them if they will take you to puerto rico. They normally charge us about 10eur each.

I've done this a few times. There is actually a local bus service that picks up outside the airport. I think it's the no. 91. This is a direct service that won't bring you into every village along the way. It was quite cheap if I recall correctly €5.00. http://www.globalsu.net
A lot cheaper than the transfers available. Some of the transfer companies will load you onto a bus with several other passengers and you can end up travelling for 2 hours before you get to your hotel. If you are getting a transfer it is worth getting a private transfer as they will bring you direct.

I was looking at the buses but wasnt sure of the times and then because we will have an 18 month old with us I didnt want to be dragging her from a 4 hour flight to a 2 hour bus journey all around the island!! got a transfer sorted through the hotel and will be picked up at the airport by a person with a sign!!:D

Person with a sign may also have others to pick up - which means you might end up waiting on the bus for a few hours! then again, you might be lucky and the hotel are picking up just you, or just your flight. Best to check first though, esp with an 18 mth old. I don't imagine it would be much fun waiting 30 mins for the rest of the travellers only to find out that their flight was delayed by 45 mins! it happened to me and we ended up having to wait nearly 2 hrs before we were on our way. And this was a transfer organised by the hotel - same set up as you.
