Sky DigiBox and Saorview without changing inputs?

I am thoroughly confused, can anyone help please?
    My setup:
TV – LG LD450 (Soarview works fine with this)
Panasonic Digital SkyDigi Box TU-DSB31 (no Sky subscription, just free channels)
    DVD Recorder Panasonic RDR-11XD560
Everything runs through the recorder e.g. that needs to be switched on to get reception.
I have been getting the free channels fine using a satellite dish.
I have just had an additional aerial installed to get Saorview HD channels.
I am based in Moate, Westmeath.
    The questions are:
    1. At the moment I have to change the inputs selections on the TV from Composite to Aerial to switch between the free and the Irish channels. Is there a way to have them all running through the same input?
    2. If the answer to that is ‘yes’ what’s the best way to connect everything up?
I have done a lot of research but being non-technical I really am none the wiser.
    Thanks in advance.

    1. No (the terriestrial tuner is in the tv)

You wont be able to record anything from the saorview channels. The tv probably wont output a decoded signal.

If you dont want to be changing inputs you need to get a combo box which will show saorview & free satellite channels on one list.

Replace the sky box and the recorder with a combo box would be how I'd do it. Make it all a lot simpler.
