Make sure that the TV you get is indeed BRAND NEW and not a factory reject,or a return from where it was shop soiled or transport damaged.

Its been know to happen with some of these "internet" sales shops.

Summary: From 22:00 Friday night until 23:00 on Sunday night there will be a number of outages on the mail cluster. We'll attempt to keep these to a minimum with an hour of down time here and there.

What:

This weekend we plan to move the existing mailstore that mail.blacknight.com is currently using. In order to facilitate a smooth transition over to the new mail system we have to make a number of changes and timelines are tight as the old system is almost out of capacity. We've built new storage which has 4 times more drives and 8 times more storage with 10GigE fibre channel connectivity.

In advanced we have done a restore of the data to our DR box. We have rsynced it to the new location to an new ext4 (newer file system with better performance). In addition to this at time night we have been rsyncing from the live store to the new storage node to refresh the data and delete files that were already downloaded, trashed etc.

Tonight starting at 22:00 we're doing the final sync, once it complete's we'll be shutting down imap, pop, smtp and webmail services.

We don't have an ETA for the completion of the final sync. We might shutdown mailservices to allow it to complete faster. We _will_ post updates here with information as it becomes available. We'll announce on twitter / facebook that we're taking services offline for brief periods before we do it. So keep an eye on http://www.facebook.com/blacknight and http://twitter.com/blacknight for these updates before you post a ticket telling us the mail servers are offline.

Also its not really too good to be true because this TV is a discontinued model. I remember Amazon selling it months ago, they don't sell it anymore, not directly anyway, maybe through other dealers on Amazon. So Wholesale Masters may have secured a few hundred of old stock somewhere, that the manufacturer wants rid of, it's a win-win for everyone if they have. Worth a punt I'd say, but only using credit card.

This makes sense, although I don't see why the wouldn't just do a deal through a similar UK based deals site, thus reducing postage costs and avoiding any currency exchange hassles

Probably going to give this a punt. Before I do, can anyone tell me if this TV looks good from the specs alone? I'm a bit out of touch with TVs at the moment. I currently have this and want to know if the Samsung is worth the upgrade. Obviously it's a bigger size screen but not sure about some of the specs. For instance, my 5 year old Phillips TV has a refresh rate of 60 HZ but the Samsung only has 50 HZ?

I have an older version of the TV and it's fantastic, have it around 3 years and still going strong - on reviews I've often seen mention of Samsung's having poor sound but mine's great tbf.

Can't find the thank button but thanks for your input. It seems like a great bargain. I'm just worried that if there's a technical problem, you're basically on your own. I doubt we'll even get a receipt with this.

I guess that's the gamble, sorry I don't know anything about refresh rates either but mine is 50Hz and again can't complain, for TV or Xbox it's a great picture, haven't tested any HD signals or BluRays though

I got an email today from wmasters saying my item was dispatched and they gave me a royal mail tracking number too.. Ill let everyone know how it goes!

Edit: just checked the tracking number and it says that it has been passed on to the postal service in "eire" . . .

Just to add to that, bigbyrnsie's purchase was a different deal to the one most boardsies availed of. He got the TV at £189 and that deal has expired. For anyone who bought the TV at £199, theres still over 4 days before the deal expires (although it has sold out). Don't be getting worried if you don't get an email from WMasters just yet as we will be waiting until the deal has expired.

There was nothing else in the envelope-no receipt or tracking number. When i checked royal mail it just says that your item has arrived in dublin eire and is being processed for delivery. Just have to wait and see!!
