It's coming over from the UK. Not on the list of saorview-compatible TVs. :(

Would be interested to find out if/how they work.:confused:

    The LE32D450 is Saorview Approved

    http://www.saorview.ie/product/samsung/

Prior to approval, it was also confirmed as being compatible with Saorview, by users on the Terrestrial forum.

They're all clearance / end-of-line products so the discount isn't that unbelievable tbh!

What would you pay for it in a shop do you think? If its saorview compatiable may be worth it

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 634 ✭✭✭pierrot

Did anyone buy this last time round? Might buy it for the mother, is it worth it at that price?

Same TV is €320 including shipping from Pixmania.

You'd probably pay between €300 and €400 for it in a shop I'd imagine.. although this is a discontinued model so it's anyone's guess!

Seeing as the last offer only ended at the weekend.. and it takes between 7 - 14 days for delivery - it's unlikely anyone has recieved it yet.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 634 ✭✭✭pierrot

Oh right, thanks. Might give it a go, seems to be on the saorview list and all.

    Lot of good deals there.
    Regarding the main one

Does this mean, it has been ongoing at €245? But also, what's the Sony reference?

    Still a good deal though.

NB. This Deal has just been reduced from €245 to €199 due to 2 days of overwhelming success and great negotiation skills from Wholesale Masters and Sony, available for a limited time!

It's very cheap , compared to prices in the UK. I'm in no need of a laptop, but was even half tempted for a minute !

I asked about saorview and this was the respose i got
"I did ask the question for another customer and got this response from Wholesale Masters

    Hi Janine

All TV's are Compatible for each countries use if for irish customers we dispatch a irish free dtt saorview compatible and for UK freeview Hd.

    Regards

    Gerald

    Kind Regards

    Janine Meehan

    Janine Meehan
    Company Director"

I then asked about how come its so much cheaper was it end of line product or are they refurbished or something. This was the reply:

Not at all, the company Wholesale Masters are a wholesalers that source product from the manufacturers, they have targets to hit too keep their agreements with Sony, Samsung etc.., so have been using some large UK. Dealsites to keep their numbers up, we approached them to set up the collaboration. They have dropped their profit and we have dramatically dropped our commissions to them to offer the prices as low as they are, so basically they are being sold at cost. We get the reputation of running some great deals & they keep their numbers up.
No catch.. just no profit :-)

    Kind Regards

    Janine Meehan

Is this hd or just hd ready?

    Its got a 1366 × 768 resolution, so it's 720p HD, but not 1080p.

    So its HD Ready.

    Just picked it up there.

I asked the Dealbuzz.ie about the Wholesale Masters.

    Thanks for your email.

We have been on the phone to them about 20 times today and yes they are a
reputable wholesalers that get their products directly from the
manufacturer. We have sold 100's today and we all have a backlog for
    information.

We ran a deal with them last week and all are already dispatched. They work
with some of the larger Dealsites in the UK for years and I did get a
    reference from them.

They are basically selling at cost as they themselves have sales targets and
we have dramatically decreased the commission, so that we can offer a great
    deal to our customers

    No catch, just no profit

Any questions feel free to get back to me

    Kind Regards

    Hi Guys..
I thought I should address this, my name is Janine Meehan and I am the Company Director of dealbuzz.ie
Dealbuzz.ie is a limited company owned by myself, it started in my home in Stepaside and we have now a sales office in Dublin Port.
The deals tha we are running are legitimate. The reason why we have ran them at such a great discount is that Wholesalemasters are interested in a high volume of turnover of products to get better prices from the manufacturers & Dealbuzz have dramitacally dropped our commission to achieve a reputation of giving customers great discounts.
All products are bought through Paypal giving you 100% security in purchasing products
If anyone has any further questions, please feel free to contact us directly through the website.
    Best Regards
    Janine

Does anyone know if this TV is Saorview Compatible?

LE32D450ZF - As far as i can make out, the ZF at the end means it is from France?

So maybe it should work, but i would prefer to know for sure..

    Thanks in advance.

    EDIT.

Thread HERE. I think it does.

    Hopefully someone can confirm.

Excuse my stupidity, just in the door from work and got an email about this from a mate. I just bought the TV
through paypal and got an email saying they will email me the voucher for this deal when it ends. What does that mean exactly, does the TV I bought there not get delivered to me as is now, or do I have to wait for this voucher to be emailed and get the TV myself somewhere? Again apologies just not sure what the story is as I rushed in to get it.

    From the site:
No need to redeem your voucher, your product will be sent out automatically using the address used when purchasing through Paypal.
Wholesales Masters will contact you in 48 hours of the deal ending to confirm your postal address and contact telephone number for courier delivery
