Pilot training in Ireland.

Ok here goes, im in my last year of school and strongly thinking about doing a pilot training course, has anyone here have any experience or know anyone doing it? It costs €75000 or there abouts to do it in Waterford which is a lot of money but I think AIB has teamed up and are now offering loans to trainee pilots. Could…

So whats the story with these pilots recently who lost all that money with the training crowd in Florida going bust, did they get their money back?

A mate of mine got his private license here but had to move away to get his commercial training. Spent his time in the US and South Africa. He worked on a massive farm crop dusting to build up his air time. Tough going but possible to do it a lot cheaper then here.
