    Sorry if this has being asked before I did a search and found nothing.

    I logged on to my sky go app on my iPad for the first time in a couple of months,
    I got a pop up saying I must update to use the app which I did then I logged back in to see another pop up Sky go does not work on jail broken devices??

    I have Xcon installed and reinstalled it after the update but it seems this sky update does away with this.Now I read if you have a previous versions of the app there might be a work around unfortunately I don't as my old pc died and I just bought a Mac book pro.So I have no back up so for anyone else do not update on your jail broken device.

    I've got sky go working on my jailbroken iPad, it's the most recent version. It's actually pretty simple to get working again.

    Here's how:
    • Download both myFiles and xCon from Cydia.
    • Then find the 2.1.5 version of the skyGo app
    • Sync that to your device
    • Open up myFiles, navigate to the skyGo.app folder
    • Locate the info.plist file
    • where it says <string>2.1.5</string>, change it to <string>2.2.0</string>
    • Quit and relaunch the skyGo app
    • Then launch it as normal and it should be working
    • Simples!
