I'm heading to Sydney in October. I received a 176 visa from NSW government and DIAC two months ago. Just wondering if anybody could recommend any good short\long stay apartments to base myself in when I first arrive? Also any recommended websites for looking for house or apartment shares? If you are looking to share try;
gumtree.com.au (not great)
flatematefinders.com.au/sydney (excellent) create a profile and match flatmates.

Also if you are moving here find out where you'll be working and try to get on that train line (if you need it). Transport details at 131500.com
