I've been considering investing in a Humax Foxsat HDR but with G2 receivers on the horizon, I wonder if I'd be better off waiting a while? From what I've read, the release of G2 standard boxes were expected before now, does anyone happen have any more information on the release lifecycle?

It's likely for Broadband services that are likely to be be blocked outside UK and use up too much of your cap, or need too much speed for your internet connection.

"youView" and On Demand / hbbTV "over the top" services.

You could wait forever... but I'd be curious as to what turns up in the November 2012 - March 2013 timescale.

If you want a decent Freesat HD PVR with ability to Kludge Saorsat on it today then don't wait.

YouView likely held up the G2
