Have you ever purchased from: http://www.pinkhotstore.com/ ? They call themselves Electronic Store. They quote in Euro, but the company info. section isn't very informative. I'm not too concerned that it may be unreliable so much as about delivery/customs implications. I just emailed them asking about this but now just spotted this on the front page: "We pay for customs in your country ! You only pay the price that you see on our website." So...this seems to clear my fear of getting a new laptop caught at customs and needed import duty. But HOW do they clear/bypass customs...? How do they pay? Is this really reliable? I have never seen a message like that.

German it seems, which means no import duty in Ireland...

i doubt very much if they will pay any import duties for Ireland, which works out roughly 37% (VAT and Charges) extra on top of the purchase value.
Anything purchased out side the EU over the value of €22 is Liable for VAT and anything over the Value of €150 is liable for VAT, Duties and Charges.

    Some light reading.
