Right, start off by opening Google Maps, and zoom out far enough that you can get Ireland (and UK if you're a traitor!) into the shot.

Just drag the yellow lad over Ireland with your Eyes closed and see where you end up.

I ended up at this lovely castle in Laois!

With the smaller box at the bottom right-hand corner, you can swiftly drag him again. I ended up in Cappawhite?

Give it a go.

I just tried it 7 times in a row, and the first 6 times I ended up directly in the centres of various villages/towns (including Gort and Blessington). Ireland's obviously more built up than I thought it was!

Last time I ended up here - seems to be Johnstown castle in Co. Wexford.

So, the bits of Ireland that aren't urban, are castles.

I kept ending up in some backward villages in France so I decided to zoom in on Ireland a bit more and landed in Belvedere house and Gardens near Mullingar, I never heard of the place, but now I can't wait to go there in real life. Looks lovely.
