I was going through the radio stations in my car and picked up a trance/dance station on 102.00 fm. What radio station is it?

The only station on 102.0 in Limerick that would be playing Dance/Trance is Beat 102 103. West Limerick 102 is on 102.2, 101.4 and 101.6, and Spin South West is 102.5, 102.7, 103.0 in Limerick.

Er... When did Beat 102-103 (which covers the south-east region) broadcast to Limerick?

It doesn't. But its 102.0 and 102.4 transmitters are usually clearly receivable in most parts of Limerick, due to their power and proximity to Limerick.
