Does anyone know where to buy truffles in Ireland?

I'd love experiment a bit with it but no idea where to get it and google doesn't show up much

Somewhere like Fallon and Byrne or Donebrook Fare in Dublin would be your best bet, last time I bought some I picked it up form the food section of Harrods in London. You are likely to only find the stuff in jars though, and only black, white truffle is stupid expensive.

I ended up using these. Got loads if stuff I've always wanted but couldn't find e.g. smoked salt, rose water, hazelnut oil, pork belly- I wanted to get morel mushrooms too but at 125eur for 500 grammes it was a bit too pricey.

Anyway, thanks a lot. I'll be using them again.

Thank you so much for sharing this! I live in Donegal and find it really difficult to get luxury items. This saves me having to go over and back to London for truffles.

    Hi.
If anyone lives in Galway or is near, i know they sell truffles in Morton's in Salthill. Cost is around 50euro for a smallish jar with a few in it.

"Best of Italy" on Dunville Avenue Ranelagh have good truffles (in jars) and great truffle oil.
