    Hi,
Bought a 01 Nissan march automatic for my partner. It's only a one litre but it seems to be very heavy on petrol. I no autos are heavier than manual. Has anyone else noticed this or am I just expecting too much.

Fill the tank, drive for a week and record the mileage. Fill tank again to the brim, record the amount of litres that went in. Then you can calculate litres per km, or MPG with those two figures(miles travelled, litres of petrol used).

That's the only way to get any solid answer.

Try changing the fuel filter first, these are a regular service item on the Micra(every second service) but most Micra's of any age are still on their original ones:rolleyes:
