FAME Fatty acid Methyl Ester and filters

I have a new diesel jeep 6 months old. I buy all my diesel from the same well known source and have done for 5 years ( my last vehicle had no filter problems ). The jeeps filter has already blocked and needs to be replaced. I've had the fuel in the tank tested and it has passed to EN590 but come back with a FAME of 6.8 ( max is 7 ). The supplier has said that the average is 5. My concern is that over a period of time the FAME count has contributed to the early demise of my filter.
My question is can fuel with a close to max permissable FAME count contribute to early filter blocking.
Moving forward I want to be able to buy diesel without the worry of early filter blocking. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

Treat your jeep to a danone yogurt every day, you know the one with the plant sterols, should help with the blocked filter.
Make it part of your morning routine.

I think the OP is saying that he is using bio-fuel in his diesel and is having blockage problems in his fuel filter. I have always avoided bio fuel so as to avoid filter problems so I have no first-hand experience of the problems. I think it is well known that bio fuel can cause filter problems, so I really can not say anything helpful.

do a boards search for imakebiodiesel,
he is based in Lismore and will be able to help with all biodiesel queries
