I'd say there were at least 5 others in at the same time as me for the same reason. There are a number of nurses and doctors who take you through the different parts. I was there for 1 hour 45 minutes but I think they were a bit behind.

Grad what time were you there

Wonder how 67j is getting on

Happy camper would spring to mind - was there first thing - did not see any others there for the same reason - remember this organisation deal with everyone from a multitude of depts - so not all there, will be for a NIPS medical - anyway passed fit for duty by the docs - normal medical stuff - eyesight, height and weight, Dr chat (None of your personal notes - just what you submitted) mobility (touch your toes etc) & hearing test - one tip before you go have a good drink as you need to pee in a pot for a sample

Decided tonight calls for a Chinese and maybe a drink - good luck to the rest of you and hopefully I will get a letter offering me a position - 67j

Can't wait for a flipping start date (fingers crossed!).. Would be very tempted to hand in my notice a week earlier and go to Vegas for a week!! :):) First pay cheque blown before I've even got it :p

    Good luck everyone!

Euros1 - just had a look back to see where you placed in the pool - cant believe that you scored higher than me and have not heard anything - personally i would be on the phone (i know that you have) to try and find out why you have not heard anything (in a polite way) - are they waiting on further info or is something delaying you case - anytime I spoke to them have found them very helpful - not sure if it is in anyway connected with when you competed the ctc forms (I did mine on the 9th July)

Good luck and keep us updated -67j

Well i picked up somewhere your standard week is 32 hours ish normally 4 x 8 hour shifts for a week or two then something like 3 x 12 hour night / graveyard shifts something similar to police etc. but a fellow applicant i am friends with told me a friend of his is in the service and only does night shifts, the bosses were tryin to get them to do normal rotation to get the experience back on the landings, but to cut a long story short, too late i hear you cry, i heard the salary was based on a 32 or 36 hour week, with the possibility of overtime, but as was discussed way earlier on this thread, they are planning to get rid of the expensive overtime, but to do so they would need more staff!

I heard there would still be overtime.
Ps. Don't see a stab vest being a necessity no. Probably white shirt, dark trousers !
