You are that "friend" aren't you?

    No way!

If you can lift her, dont shift her..

    ...and rob her chips.

It does, in fairness, she would just be trying to rescue her friend from an unpleasant situation.

Anyway, I don't think this thread is going to be very productive.

Maybe this one girl was just a bitch.

Maybe your friend was actually annoying the girl he was dancing with.

Maybe you were out of order in telling the girl she wasn't attractive.

All that really matters is that I'm glad I wasn't out with you. It sounds like a horrible night.

Do things like this happen a lot to you and your friends? There's something about your attitude that suggests to me that such altercations might occur on occasion.

firstly had a gr8 night, if i let some loser like this ruin my night everytime I went out then I probably wouldnt go out anymore.

Secondly there was plenty of other ways she could have helped her friend without being such a bitch to my friend(had a quick word in her ear, took her to the bathroom, etc.)

and finally look who's making assumptions now, you dont have a clue what its like to go out with me or my mates & by the sounds of it you dont sound as if you get out very much at all if you think that way of treating people is ok

OP, if you were a proper wingman, you would have distracted the girl's mate before she went up and pulled her friend away.

Note to self: Don't go pulling with leonidas83.

Jack u beat me to it. You should have been all about the friend before she intervened - avoiding the interruption and ensuring the score for your mate.

You should hang your head in shame.

Your attempt to play wingman after the fact was quite simply too little too late.

Hey now, I never said anything about this situation was ok, just that there are lots of mitigating factors in every individual case and I don't think it's fruitful to try to conjecture about large sections of the population based on one case.

Anyway: same year of birth and location as me, yet seemingly very angry: I'm starting to think that you're a manifestation of my own psyche that I post as during my blackouts.

Yes. Just like menboys who chat up girls who aren't interested.

I see a lot of disdain on boards regularly for girls that wear fake tan. Yet when i go out all i see is fake tan everywhere. Now, girls wouldnt be doing it if all males found it as repulsive as seems to be the general consensus. So what gives?

Go to better places. Usually girls grow outta that Paris Hilton phase. Just like the men grow out of "any girl will do".

While many men dislike fake tan on girls, they dislike blueballs more and therefore grin and bare the fake tan.

    I honestly don't know.

I don't know any lad who is more attracted to a girl because of fake tan but a lot of girls seem convinced that it makes them look better.

I was talking to a fat lass with huge tits last night.

"My eyes are up here..." I said, as she looked down at the kebab in my hand.

Well if youre going to places with girls like that i assume you need to go to a nicer place.

I hear these complaints quite a bit, is it generalising if there's quite a few lads saying it? You get a good few women saying the same of Irish lads in fairness.

    That is harsh.

You're either very naive or you don't get out that much to think that girls will stop wearing fake tan when they get to a certain age. Women of all ages will always wear fake tan, just some wear it better than others.

Yes, and it would be unfair of women to say similar things about men. The reality is that the people you come across behaving churlishly in a nightclub are not representative of all Irish people, or even all Irish people in nightclubs.

Not really, as it's a hypothetical situation with a hypothetical ugly man.

Also, it's a joke. It needed a :pac:.

Eh, I was talking about the orange stuff you see the kids about 16-20 wear. Not actual proper fake tan.

OP you're a legend, I see this kind of thing all the time, "I wear loads of makeup therefore I'm better than you". I used to be a bit of a minger back in the day but I was a nice guy so most girls would humour me but there's always that one bitch. It's about time she got a taste of her own medicine.

The only thing I would say is that it is present in most European countries, well it certainly is in the UK anyway.

I read this opening post thinking it was a brilliant (little over the top) parady of the typical still-living-at-home-with-mammy-pathetic-Irish-manchild-complains-about-wimmin thread.

But then I found out the OP is being serious.

You should wear more make-up than them, turn the tables on them completely.

    Then you'd win.
