I used to use federal before and I found they passed in and out and I got a lot of runners if I couldn't get a head or neck shot. I would always pick them up but it made it harder of they got into forestry or that. Last year I started using the sako and dropped everything where it was shot no matter where hit. And I even got my mushroomed bullets back out of a few of them which shows it uses all it's energy
