    Ever been to the motherland?

Need to get out of the Motherland.

It is unusual for other nationalities to call their homeland Motherland often it is Fatherland.

You come from a relatively new independent state?

    ever been to the brotherland?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,584 ✭✭✭PandaX9

    No I have not :p

(ps I thought it was fairly common knowledge that when someone refers to the "Motherland", 9 times out of 10 it is a reference to Russia ;)? but yes Russia is my parents motherland as it were, technically Ireland is mine but I don't want to get all caught up in the technicalities. And I thought a country is always given a feminine noun, regardless of the noun ending? America is another example)

Anyway, are you currently looking forward to anything?

No, I barely have enough for myself, particularly what with Ulster bank withholding my wages for a month (I know it can't be helped and could be waaaay worse, it's not the end of the world for me like some people have it)

Do you bank with ulster bank and thus are experiencing problems?

What is the most "compromising" thing you have done in public?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,279 ✭✭✭Lady Chuckles

I fainted in a restaurant once. I'm not sure if it counts as "compromising" but I sure was embarrassed when I came to my senses :o

No not yet actually.. I'm weird about steam. I'd much rather have a hard copy of a game, even if said disc breaks. It's something about hoarding the boxes that makes me feel all fuzzy inside :>

Is the steam sale still on?
