Yeah man you can run the server again and Ill talk to Kotten to run the TS server. And you name it "Steffano2002", could we start at 9pm today with the practice? We can start earlier but if we could start the official start at 9pm would be cool

So to all, server for tonight will be named: "Steffano2002". I think I got in a 1.29:360 or something like that. But I cant keep those speeds for many laps without going of somewhere hehe.

that is fast, I am down to 1.30.8 something so I am still 2 seconds slower than ya guys... I have room for much improvement i the long left turn so that will probably give me 1 second there atleast.

Track: Mills Outer Loop B

Schedule:

Practice from 20:00 to 21:30 (special delayed start this week - usually 30 minutes only)
Qualifying from 21:30 to 21:55 (25 minutes)
Race Start 22:00 - 15 Laps

How's that for everybody?

Yeah that turn is hateful! And even now I feel I can go faster but every time I try to push that little bit more I miss the apex completely or worse, finish in the gravel...

But still, great track and those Renault cars are pretty freakin' good too! Can't wait for tonight!

Steffano2002 if you are running the server I would recomend us turning of flag rules so noone can get DQ.. Since that require us to restart the race session so that everyone can race and I am finding this iritating since it hapend every time for someone

I will start a TS server today not up yet but will be later

Hi Kotten,

Fair enough, I'll disable the flag rules to ensure we don't have any problems tonight.

HOWEVER; we should only be doing this because:

a) it's still a Beta
b) we're still finding our way around the game
c) our Wednesday meetings are still "for fun only"

If we were ever to bring this weekly event to the next level (i.e. a proper Championship) then I hope you all agree the flag rules should be actuivated right?

I'd need a full tutorial explaining how to do this! Am I right in saying "fraps" would be involved? That's what I used the last time I did any kind of in-game recording back in 2004!

Im not sure how you can steam it live BUT!! that would be VERY cool if we could do that.

Yeah sorry for the late start today, sometimes life gets in the middle of things

And I agree with the flags, keep them off until we are all are up and running fully and have learned the sim's in's and out's.

I was thinking (I have started) I should create a web site for this so we can track everything there. I own www.homesimracing.com and I think I will use that one. Sound good?

Well only for fun, I would be OK to run with the flagrules on aswell but if we do no restarts of race events just because someone gets DQ.
I don't think there are any big issues running with flag rules on just don't like the restarts of race events.

ok, so figured out why I couldnt join the Formula 3.5 room before, I was running Version 10 newest one was V.12! Lesson learned..

Even though I only had a half hour race with it, I was amazed by how refined the model has become, much more refined feedback, and now locking wheels!

Its very very good, I thought all damage was off, went a bit hell for leather and then realised people were retiring with blown engines! oops, bit lucky there..

Anyway, must keep better track of updates..

Hehe Hulksmash we all thought it was off. But the sim is really getting there, the feeling of that Formula Renault 3.5 is just pure loveliness

Ill pick car "GT World Endurance" but not sure of track yet, will pick track tonight when I get home from work

Tried it out.. Its well slidy, i'd imagine a full grid would be carnage ha ha ha.

Strange banging noise at times???? Traction control maybe? made a hell of a racket! sounded like me exhaust had come loose.

Anyway, wont be able to race for a couple of weeks, off on me holiers next Wednesday, when I come back I probably wont be able to catch you all, you will be so fast!

Should be back on the first Wednesday in August, cant wait already
