Usually most work out around €5 per hour for 1 child. Should get €8 if you have 2.

€200 per week to look after a kid while you're at work? No wonder everyone's on the dole.

You'd get a full week rate lower than €200 per week. Most places now do session, full day and full week rates.

We pay €32 per day. There is an hourly rate of €5 for shorter periods. Does not include food

About 35-40 in one creche anyway including food in a private creche. Community creches are cheaper as they get more state funds than the private creches.

We send himself to a creche a few miles out of town and the rates, incl. food, are:

    1 day: €40
    2 days: €70
    3 days: €90
    4 days: €120
    5 days: €150

    They also do half-days (from 07.30 - 14.00) for €20.

    Couldn't recommend them highly enough.

PM me if you want their details.

    ~€175 a full-time (8:15-17:45) week for all under 1
~€165 FT week for under 3
~€150 FT week for under 4
~€30 FT week for under 5

For both working and no state benefits.

By the time he's 5 you paid them €22,500.
    175*26+(165+150+30)*52=22,490
