Agree with this. I'd happily wager that none of Oscar, Ganso or Lucas Moura will be playing in England next season.

You might want to re-think that

    Oscar
The player's agent has also told Neto, as reported by Sky, that he expects his client to agree terms with the Stamford Bridge club over the next few days, so the move is on, despite the player saying it is off.

OOPS! now the club denies it!

How did he get on there last season? Didnt he join them on loan in January or something like that?

Hope it works out for him, always have fond memories of Smudge

Different rumour, Witsel to United with Ando going the other way, doesnt seem to be any substance to it though.

    Stevan Jovetic

Fiorentina wants 30 mil euro (£24mill roughly) for him. Sky sports.

Reckon a few clubs will be sniffing around now

    http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11670/7887034/Viola-set-Jovetic-price-tag

Fiorentina are reluctant to part with in-demand striker Stevan Jovetic and have informed potential suitors that it will take 30million euros to force their hand.

The highly-rated 22-year-old continues to attract admiring glances from across Europe, with Premier League heavyweights Arsenal and Chelsea believed to be heading the list.

Reigning Serie A champions Juventus are also said to be keen on a player who has blossomed during his four years in Italy.

Fiorentina are aware of the mounting interest in the Montenegro international, but hope they will continue to benefit from his considerable ability.

Every player has a price, though, and sporting director Daniele Prade claims €30million (£23.8m) would be enough to entice the club into transfer talks.
    Agreement

"Since the start of the season we have said that we are not selling Jovetic," he told SportItalia.

"There is, however, an agreement with the player that (should we get an offer) above a certain figure, we will sit down and evaluate the offer.

"So far we have not received an offer for the player.

"He is a top player and we will only consider offers above 30million euros.

"He has the potential to become a player like (Roma icon) Francesco Totti."

Remember he scored a goal for them. Wouldn't even recognise him.

It was his first goal in 5 years!

2 surprises for me if true.

Rodallega hasn't done anything the last 2 seasons.

And imo Lloris could play for the best clubs in Europe. If I was Arsenal I'd try get him. A good keeper would do Arsenal great.

I think Szczesny is a tremendous keeper, and will only get better. That is not a position Arsenal should be worried about IMO.

To be honest I think Spurs is Lloris level. He's not a top keeper by any stretch.

Isn't Butland with birmingham? Are they not going to give him a chance or are they trying to sign harper as a no. 2?

Harper is being looked at as a goalkeeping coach/backup keeper. Conflicting rumours about Birmingham's interest in Harper, there is a rumour that we made a bid for him but there is also rumours that Harper is looking to cancel his contract so as to join Birmingham. If Harper signs it will be primarily as a coach who will provide backup to Butland who will be Number 1 next season.

I think Lloris is a very good keeper, but when you look at the top clubs in England he would struggle to replace any of their current number 1's IMO.

Only Friedel would be under threat, Cech, Reina, De Gea, Sycszeny, Hart are all of similar level or better then Lloris.

I know Friedel is getting on but he was excellent last season from what I remember.

Unconfirmed but Sky Sports reporting that Van Persie may agree a new deal at Arsenal and stay at the club. Has anybody heard this today?

He was very good and won Spurs a few points with some excellent saves, but you cant rely on a 41 year old forever. :pac:

Lloris would be a good replacement for Friedel if they decided to relegate him to number 2.

Not to sure if Spurs have any young guys coming through that could take up the mantle of replacing Brad so maybe investing in Lloris woudl be a good idea.

Looks like Marco Verratti to PSG for €12m is almost done.

He is going to be an amazing player, was epic last year along with Insinge for Pescara.

I can see him being the person who replaced Pirlo in the Italian midfield after the world cup.
Himself and Poli could be a great partnership.

The arsenal keeper, Sczezney (can't spell it) isn't good enough for Arsenal imo. He could easily be upgraded. I'd have Anders Lindegaard above him even. He was poor in the euros too. Showed poor judgement imo. Lloris would be an ace buy for them, they'd finally solve their keeper problem for a long time. He's French too ;)

Oh yes, the man who was loaned out by OB because they chose Roy Carroll ahead of him?

Yeah, I don't think Szcesney is that good at all. He's prone to mistakes.
