    Hi All,

Went in to my nearest BOI Branch to see about switching my mortgage to them, to be told by their Mortgage advisor that they are no longer doing them.

Its still advertised on their website as doing switchers, obviously dont want the publicity of it or something.

Is there any other banks doing switchers at the moment.

    Thanks,

BOI will do them if your LTV is less than 50%? AIB won't do them in any circumstances... Where are you trying to get away from?

My LTV is less than 50% still I would think, I'm trying to move from Haven. I got the impression I was being fobbed off.

ICS (a subsidiary of Bank of Ireland), KBC and Permanent TSB should look at a switcher, if your credit and banking history is perfect and you qualify for the amount. ICS do up to 50%, PTSB 75% and KBC 80%.

That said, Permanent TSB have treated existing customers very badly in recent times with Standard Variable Rates so I'd tend to be suspicious of them.
