I freaking love DayZ! I keep dying though when I respawn...

Also, why does everyone attack me on sight? I was walking past the barn just north of Elektro with a Winchester. Some chap came out of the bushes and he had a freaking AK! Started shooting me as I was typing "FRIENDLY" so I started to run into the forest. The zombies from the barn were aggroed by the gunshot and about 7 of them started chasing him.

I now have his AK :pac:

Think this will be my first purchase when my rig arrives, obviously going to be low on cash and this is cheaper than BF3 (which I have for PS3 anyway), and it looks amazing :cool:

Yeah. Most people on it are not very friendly. I just camp Starry with a thermal scope and a 50cal sniper rifle and shoot anyone I see. There is a large group of us, boards members so that makes the game a bit more fun travelling in groups.

@ShadowHearth, its just multiplayer. 50 Player servers, we have a boards server set up, and its really fun.

I see, cheers. So the point of game is to survive? Is there a set amount of zombies out there? Or there some spawn system? Do you need to scavenge for weapons or just choose loudout and go pew pew pew?

Yes.
No, zombies spawn in towns only, fields are empty for the most part. But zombies will continue to spawn when you're in a town regardless of if you kill them all or not.
No spawn system, if you die you spawn in a random location on the coast.
And no loadout, you start with nothing more than a flashlight and a bandage, you have to scavage through towns to get weapons, food and water and more medical supplies whilst avoiding zombies and other players. Some players are friendly and will help you but the majority just shoot you straight away.

gfx card finally arrived from amazon.de

gigabyte gtx 670... lovely

averaging 40 ish fps in metro2033 and the witcher 2 (ubersamping disabled) at native res (2560x1440). fantastic. skyrim isn't launching for some reason so gona delete everything and start modding it all over again

it also maxed 59C under load and is idling at 8C! that can not be right.. 8 ****ing degrees is freezing cold.

the problem is that they already took 180eu of my account for samsung. usually online shops take money from account when they got goods shiped. komplett does not bother with despatch emails... :rolleyes:

i emailed them, but so far i havent heard a thing from them. so i dont know wtf is happening, did they shiped out my ssd? or do they expect me to wait another week for stock? if they took money of my account can i cancel it and buy from dabs.ie? can they take 20eu extra and give me crucial m4 instead... i have no idea...

i did that before when reinstalled windows. copy pasted and then did the update for each game.

so anyone on those crucial m4s? is the updated version is just 7mm? will go to all desktops too? no iffy stuff? as all i can find is just how good it is for laptops.
