Inter-railing. Night Cabins during the day?

I am going inter-railing around europe end of July into August and am wondering: Can we book those night cabins during the day so we can sleep out an 8 hour train journey during the day instead of the night? Thanks ;)

I don't think so as they aren't specifically night cabins, the day cabins have pull out beds. Well that's how it was on any long distance trains I got in Europe.

I know about the beds being pull out because ive stayed in them overnight before but im just wondering will they let us use the beds during the day if we book a couchette during the day for 6 people?
