Chartered accountant - PQE with training firm

Hi guys, Noticed that most jobs for accountants require at least 1 years PQE. Im just wondering if one stays on with their training firm for a year after qualifying would that be regarded as beneficial and as 1 years PQE?

In a word... Yes. Unless they require it to be industry and you were in practice.
