    Hi guys,

looking for some advice/help with this issue. I have had an issue with my passenger window for some time now and have decided to try and get it sorted. Basically when i press the button (driver or passenger controls) for the passenger electric window ( I havent fixed it as I'm usually driving :) ) I can hear the motor kicking in but the window does not budge.

I have heard there is a cord or something that can snap on these? Is this correct and if so is it likely to be causing my problems? Is this a difficult issue to repair?

    Cheers for any help guys.

I wouldn't be very qualified to answer but if the motor is running but nothing Is happening then it's quite possible something is snapped or mis aligned. Maybe take the door panel off and have a nose Around or post a pic of it so others can help diagnose

Sounds like the window regulator has either snapped or jammed.

You can source repair kits online for a cost effective repair as well as ensuring the new parts are well lubricated with silicone grease before everything is put back together.
