you can go look at their posts, neither have said they disconnected, they actually denied disconnecting, and accused your friend of disconnecting, which you have chosen to ignore.

any other server in other games i have seen associated with boards has been admined in a mature way, as it can reflect the boards community.

and if you havent been given permission to have boards.ie in your server name, i hope a mod on here asks you to remove it, and hope also other boards members that disagree with your admin techniques agree.

You really need to read back he admitted to disconnecting and reconnecting in the same place he just tried to blame his Internet connection. Please read the posts before you start ranting.

Nobody accused munkey of disconnecting, I will argue on his behalf that he did not disconnect, the two people we are accusing of disconnecting are [anti-boards] dafuq, and [anti-boards] erection. One of them logged out in front of me, and the other is shown on the logs of leaving and coming back 10mins later during the time of the fight.

Munkey accused me of disconnecting, and it was not ignored. _vti posted the times that I logged in and out today, and munkey has since retracted the statement and said that he believes that I did not log out.

Please read before you post uneducated crap like that.

Mostly in the redbricked buildings and supermarket, but it's usually a case of when you already have it you find them everywhere, and when you need it...

I've just been scouting about for the past while looking for heli crash sites, but the amount of 'x has been killed' was pretty surprising. A few of it down to people respawning for better locations, but still odd. And one guy was apparently killed by himself.

We didn't take it away from you... the server was having huge desync issues so it was restarted. How on earth was villain to know you had just got a vehicle? We have lost more vehicles than you have ever seen from server restarts and other alpha ****. We don't complain though, because we know its nobody's fault. Its an alpha and **** happens.

@If thats not proof enough for you then surely if the guy who first accused me of disconnecting takes it back and says that he just didn't see me walk into the hanger two feet away from me that has to be proof enough...

I'm in the [boards] group on this particular server. I play with Villain and Vti, both of whom are server admins. As such, you might think I'm biased, but here are osme points I'd like to add. I've stayed out of the debate tonight, because it's handbags and QQ combined, for some parties in particular. I'm not going to start slagging people though. So:

1. The only people who get banned are hackers and those proven to disconnect during pvp. I don't know what yer man Munky is pissing and moaning about, he hasn't been banned. Flying may have said something which could be inferred as meaning Munky disconnected , but accusations alone don't result in bans. The server logs need to be referred to.
2. Server logs are private information. They simply shouldn't be published unexpurgated. I'd leave a server that published logs containing my data, in any game.
3. I have no issue with how the server is admin'd. If there's unacceptable behaviour in the administration of the server, I've yet to see it. Bans, etc are handled in line with Team DayZ's recommendations.
4. I'm not a long-standing part of Boards' tactical shooter community, but this server grew out of that. I joined purely for DayZ. I've found the [boards] group to be sound, even though in-game, they take no prisoners. There's a great convivial buzz, and for me they've made DayZ very entertaining.
5. The [anti-boards] group are incredibly juvenile. If you read their posts and think, "They seem really sound, no way would they cheat", fair enough. However, if you spend much time on other forums, such as reddit.com/r/dayz you'll see that there is an epidemic of alt+f4'ing. I can't imagine why a reasonable person would be unwilling to imagine that this epidemic could spread to the irish server. These aren't outlandish claims.

Agree with everything else, but I didn't accuse munky of disconnecting. Nobody did, I even said that I'd back him up if anybody did accuse him of disconnecting.

if you read villains post, hes basically said that thornography, ( or at least who he thinks thornography is in game(anti boards - erection ----dont know if he is or not)) is being banned for a month, and is demanding an apology in order to reduce it to a 1 week ban.

im not asking for any private info from the server, im asking for the connect and disconnect info, in order to put to rest the accusations of who disconnected, if anyone did. and they wouldnt have to publisht hem publicly, im sure they could ask a mod to confirm.

i dont play with the anti boards guys, i play with the irish guard lads when i can. but from the arguments ive seen over the last few days,
its actually the boards(admins and friends of IRE1) that are very immature.

and i refer you to look at the last argument about the server being locked for "testing" purposes.
a lot of players stated how not only is that behavious unfair, but against dayz rules, and all villain could state was to go cry to mammy. instead of trying to rationalize his decision to lock a server for testing.
my main point is to please go their post history also, as they havent exactly represented themselves in a mature fashion.

What the hell are you talking about, no one said anything about locked servers.

I really don't understand why you're going out of your way to demand things of people who already volunteer their time and energy to give us a fun game.

Why is your first contribution to this thread purely for drama? DayZ is ****ing great fun. The boards server is very well run, and that's all I need. All the drama in the world won't change that.
