Like Dolores Mcnamara in Limerick. Say, you won €100 million .
What's the first thing you would do / buy ??
Would you give any to charity?

I would buy a mansion in Monaco and a private yacht and a private plane, possibly cessna citation and keep it in Weston.

Add: that would prob earn about a grand a week interest .. I'd give that to charity by direct debit along with regular lump sums.

What would you buy first with €100 million quid? 73 votes

    An Atari Jaguar

I'd buy a lot of crap sure, but i'd get the most satisfaction from helping out friends and family, telling them they'll never have to work again :)

First and foremost, sort out the friends and family.

Break up with the girlfriend or make her agree to me having sex with thousands of beautiful gold diggers.

Hire the best mate to party with me for the rest of our lives.

    SORTED

Where do you draw the line with that though?

    Something about sandwiches

I wrote this app to do just that!
    https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.eoinzy.lotto

But so far it hasn't won me anything. Got 50 euro in May, but nowhere near enough to get me that yacht in Monaco. Turns out its hard to win the lotto! :(

I'd build my own Hadron Collider, and every now and again release a press release along the lines of "hold on, I might have found something..."

if i won a substantially large amount (euromillions)

step one - open a swiss bank ac

step two - move 90% of the winnings to the swiss bank ac and let it gather interest safely in the knowledge that if the euro fails/devalues my fortune wont get wiped out

step three - pay off any outstanding bills for me and my family

step four - book a year long holiday travelling around the world.. i'd bring a special someone with me of course ;)

step five - buy a nice new car

step six - build my own home

Approach a charity with the offer of a €10million donation if they'll do publicity saying I gave them €90m (to get the targets off mine and my families backs).

Buy a site and commission an architect and builders for a large family home with an underground pool in Clontarf.

Take care of some family and friends.

Charter a plane for a massive blow out holiday for my friends.

Bring the kids to Florida to do Disneyland, Universal Studios etc.

I'd buy the Betty Ford clinic for later down the line when I hit rock bottom.

nope but i'd would be sensible about it... euro is going down the pan and to be honest would you trust any irish bank with such a large sum of money?

not shout it out down the pub when pi*sed!

Give most of it away, not worth the hassle once you have enough to be comfortable. Every c*nt wanting something. Not knowing if people are genuine or just after your money.

Something similar but not Korea and before that I'd take my mates for trip by private jet to Oslo, Milan and Berlin for the the weekend.

Does anyone remember a couple of years ago the British MOD were selling off some massive underground bunker? I'd buy something like that and kit it out like Khazad Dum from The Lord of the Rings and sit on a big throne like some king under the mountain type.

I'd pay off some of Anglo's debt with it...

    100 mil you say................

well for the heck of it I would do a 1 mil quick pick in the following weeks euro milions for the heck of it.

I would then run down grafton st bollock naked (its a deal I have with friends if I won)

I would look after close family and friends and for all the rest of them throw one hella big shindig somewhere for a week.

Box at White Hart Lane for me and the ould man.

A good donation to local charites at home.

houses in London, New York, Milan, San Fran and home.

    a full size masterchief suit!!

    buy a pub or six
