Samsung Galaxy S - "Call Forwarding" & "Data Roaming"

Hi,

Can you please advise why my phone is showing call forwarding even though I haven't set up call forwarding on it? - when i go to call settings it shows call forwarding as deactivated yet when I switched on my phone again this morning the call forwarding symbol shows up the top of the screen, when I take a look at it it show "call forwarding - forwarding all voice calls"

Also, can anyone help me in the same notifications bar as above at the top of my screen I have a red triangle with an exclamation mark in it, when I look at what it is it states "you have lost data connectivity because you left your home network with data roaming turned off" - can anyone please explain this in lay mans term for me?
