best route from newtown to matraville

hi everyone, if anyone is familiar with these areas could you please advise what is the best car route from newtown to matraville for 8am work start. Thanks so much.

Without being smart: google maps is usually quite good
and 131500.com.au is good for public transport.

I live in newtown and have cycled to La Perouse a few times.

I would say either Bunnalong road -> Gardeners road
or Went worth ave -> Botany rd.

If traffic is heavy on canal road, try take the right turn on Burrows
