    Hi,

Would appreciate some advice/opinions, have an 09 VW Passat 1.9TDI, mileage currently approx 73k. Per manual its says first timing belt change due at 100k miles.

Are any of you of the opinion that it would be better to change it sooner, I have heard it varies a lot depending on engine size and know from previous Golf I had it was around 60K miles for first change?

    Thanks

Is it not 100k or 4 years, whichever is sooner?

For an 09 Passat 1.9tdi, the listing I have here is every 150,000kms or 4 years.
