Export a large MySQL database?

I want to large database from Blacknight to another server off Blacknight. The main table is 4 columns X 70million rows. The export option in phpMyAdmin obviously times out with such a large database. Are there other options. Is there a command I could run to save the export (preferably compressed) to my hosting? Thanks
