I'm a hoarder and have collected all sorts of mad stuff over the years and some things have a fair bit of value now I suppose. Antiques, curiosities and some oddball stuff. Shít I have a tailwheel from a Stuka dive bomber and a bit of Russias version of the space shuttle.:D

Probably the "nerdiest/forbidden planet" type thing I have is an original 1977, pre oscars("first edition" really) Star Wars poster that was given to me by a mate's dad who worked in the Dublin cinema where it premiered. IIRC it has "destroy after use" or somesuch on the bottom edge. I've a couple of lobby cards from the Empire strikes back too. I nearly threw the lot out in the 90's. Oh yea and I have most of the first 200 odd 2000AD's somewhere in the attic, including annuals. All of the US and UK original Star Wars comic serialisation too. Oh and Stan Lee's autograph somewhere, feck knows where. Another mate was throwing that out and I thought ah here.

Many worry about Artificial Intelligence. I worry far more about Organic Idiocy.

any chance you could post a pic of the poster? I would love to see it

also you could be sitting on a nice few quid depending on what version poster it is

I don't have a pic, but it looks exactly like this one http://www.mtv.com/news/photos/s/star_wars_060504/SW4_1.jpg I think it was printed in Ireland though. It's a big bugger. Folded 6 ways it's bigger than A4. It has one tear and one corner is nibbled IIRC. It's defo not mint anyway. Sadly.

A selection of Amps aswell as guitars and basses, since moving out there only collecting dust in my mothers shed at the moment.

AAAARRRRRRHHHHHH get the amps and guitars OUT of a shed

unless its heated you WILL destroy both amps and guitars , if you have no where to put them, at least put them in the attic , it will not be anywhere near as damp as a shed .

if you really want to destroy them leave them be - if not move them

as for my storage lock ..................

collection of dead hitchhikers , and soon to be dead hitchhikers
dont see them much on the road anymore ? thats because i have them all now :P

:D It would need to have the tear restored and be properly mounted(acid free paper I believe??). I dunno any trustworthy types in Ireland to do it. Many moons ago I dd ask around, but thought better of it after some of the suggestions... Gluing it to MDF was one muppet's idea.

A few pieces of antique jewellery that may (fingers crossed!) feature on Pawn Stars when I head to Vegas in a few weeks.

    A Victorian Linen closet.

An original 1950's General Motors Frigidaire in working order and painted fire engine red (will sell if anyone is interested by the way!)

    Hothouse Flowers Platinum disc

    Thats bout it.

Was driving past the storage units near the M50 today and my son wondered if they do sales of the units. Anyone know?

Hester is a gobshíte, his squinty eyes annoy me. Barry is a legend. Brandi is lovely, in a sexy bitchy way.

    Dunno what I'd store.

My valuables are musical instruments. The most expensive thing I own is my precious upright piano. I love it dearly. After that, my flute and my piccolo, though they're both in bad nick at the moment and probably wouldn't fetch more than a few quid each if sold. Besides those, everything I own is cheap muck. :pac:
